While in college studying engineering, God began to show me His desire that His people use the gifts He has given us to serve others. He showed me His vision to bring design professionals and missionaries together to build the kingdom of God worldwide. 

After seven years of working as an engineer in the Boston area, God opened the door for me to serve full-time as a global worker with Assemblies of God five and a half years ago. While in this role we had the opportunity to start an intern program for students who were interested in using their gifts to build God's kingdom with CompassionLink. I also had the opportunity to become a licensed engineer and a minister with the Assemblies of God in this season. It's amazing to see how God prepared the way during this time for what he has next!

In March of 2022, I volunteered on a project with Engineering Ministries International (EMI) in Missouri. After this trip, I felt that God may be opening a door for a move from my current role and that this move might be to EMI. He did open this door and now I’m transitioning from my role at CompassionLink to that of Intern Coordinator for EMI.  In this new role, I’ll work to mobilize and disciple young designers as they explore God’s calling for their lives.

At EMI internships are at the heart of everything we do to serve ministries around the world. We mobilize 50+ interns a year to 9 offices in countries all over the world. About 25% of the full-time workers at EMI are interns and 50% of our staff were interns in the past! God has used this intern program to influence young professionals and build his kingdom around the world. Now God has called me to join his work at EMI.
